Quilt Show

Quilts can be both decorative and functional. Quilts can be used as a bed covering, smaller ones a wall hanging, or table runner. Quilts are evaluated based on both visual impact and workmanship. Visual impact is created by the choice of color, fabric, design and composition. Workmanship includes the construction, quilting and finishing techniques.

People Choice, How to vote:
Starting November 14th at 10:00 a.m. our site will be open for you, the community to vote for your favorite artist or piece of art!

✔You can vote for the same entry once every 12 hours
✔You can vote for multiple entries.

People's choice voting will end on Sunday, November 29th at noon.
The winners are announced on December 1st.

About Show Quilt Show

Participants are entered into the following classes:

- Hand quilted – Pieced or Applique or Embroidered, any size

- Pieced and machine quilted – Large (bed quilt)

- Pieced and machine quilted – Small (wall hanging or lap)

- Applique or mixed techniques (embroidery, whole cloth, etc.) – Large (bed quit)

- Applique or mixed techniques (embroidery, whole cloth, etc.) – Small (wall hanging or lap)

- Youth up to 18 yrs.

Quilts are evaluated based on both visual Impact and workmanship. Visual impact is created by the choice of color, fabric, design and composition. Workmanship includes the construction, quilting and finishing techniques.

Awards

Best of Show/People’s Choice Highest Vote Award Winner: $50

1st place: $25, 2nd Place: $10, 3rd place: Ribbon, Honorable Mention: Ribbon

Show entries featuring flowers are also eligible for the $500 Helena McComb Award.
